I took the canvas outside to paint this scene and used a fallen twig dipped into acrylic paint to create the trees then mixed each blossom in the same way

I incorporated the Queens beloved Corgis on the Royal Standard flag and Doves of peace above Her Majestys coffin. I used a tiny sharp scalpel cutting out coloured paper and designed and created this in 48 hours between seeing the Queen lying in State and her funeral on Monday.
